The young Spanish Rubén Simeó (Vigo, 1992) and Antonio Morant (Valencia, 1991), together known as SIMANT DUO , have worked together since 2018, making recordings and concerts at national and international level since then including the recent recording in Porto of their CD " New Way " (which has the endorsement of the trumpeter awarded with 9 Grammy Awards, 6 Billboard Awards and an Emmy, Arturo Sandoval , who dedicated a few words to the album and can be read when opening the cover) with presentation in Europe, United States and China. The duo presents themselves breaking the boundaries between different genres of music, from classical, to pop and film, taking the trumpet-piano duo to an unimaginable level with their undeniable passion and incredible talent. Both present as a common denominator a period of training at the “Salvador Seguí” Superior Conservatory of Music in Castellón, with Vicente Campos and Brenno Ambrosini, respectively. From may 2022 they are represented by the Agent José Torrano and all his team at Emotional Events.

A world reference trumpet player, Rubén, from an early age, demonstrates exceptional habilities in the trumpet, performing concerts in concerthalls and TV programs, with great success from the public and music critics. In 2008, he was awarded with the European Prize of Culture (Stuttgart). Formed with the legendary Maurice André (who highlighted Rubén's "exceptional technical conditions, unheard of at such a young age"), he regularly offers tours and masterclasses around the world: Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy, England, Estonia , Turkey, China, Japan, Korea, Peru, among others. He has performed with large orchestras such as RTVE, Orquesta de Valencia, Orquesta de Munich, Stuttgart, Paris, Beijing, Caracas, Kanazawa Symphony, among others. At present, in parallel, he teaches classes at the Higher Conservatory of Cáceres. It should be remarked his recent premiere of the second trumpet concerto by Arturo Sandoval, in the presence of the Maestro himself. Jury in the next edition of the TVE program "Prodigios".

Pianist, pedagogue and musicologist, Antonio with only 27 years obtained the position of Professor of University of Music, currently combining his activity as a teacher at the Superior Conservatory of Music "Joaquín Rodrigo" in Valencia with his concert side, performing in concert halls. in Spain, Poland, Serbia, France, Norway, Germany, Italy, Holland, among others. Trained for five years at the prestigious “Frederic Chopin” University of Music in Warsaw (Poland) with the soloist Piotr Paleczny, he has been awarded in more than twenty national and international competitions. He is regularly invited as a member of the jury at international competitions and to teach masterclasses.
